The Chapel
The Chapel is being restored as
close to its original form as possible and
will eventually be the focus of activity on the Farm. It is leased
by the Wilderness Trust and will be a centre for reflection,
workshops, exhibitions, meetings and celebrations. It will contain a small library
and be open to all visitors when there is no specific event on.
The Chapel itself is not old
(1820s) but built on the site of an older one, possibly dating back
to medieval times when Wigmore Abbey had a grange here. The
graveyard is still owned by the Church in Wales. |
