Feltmaking
4th - 5th September
TUTOR: Rebecca Wood is a science
communicator and biochemist who took up felt making 5 years ago.
In this course you will learn about natural
dyeing and how to make a flat, pictorial piece of felt from carded
wool. (Old Chapel Jacob sheep) On the second day those who wish will
make themselves a pair of slippers. All tools and materials will be provided.
Teaching:10 am Saturday - 4.pm
Sunday
Course fee £80 includes lunches
and materials
Accommodation £70 in shared
yurts. Meals provided from Friday 7 pm supper to 4.30 Sunday. Free
yurt space on Sunday night if required. Pillows and sheets provided
but please bring your own sleeping bag or duvet
