Hazel Coppice
Planting
13th - 14th November 2010
This is an informal weekend where
you will get a taste of life on a smallholding by sharing meals and
work with us. We will be planting a new area of coppice in grassland
adjoining our 16 acre oak wood. The coppice will extend the small area
we manage to provide us with the many woodland products we need for
our farm and courses. You will learn something of woodland management
and help with the planting of 2 acres of new woodland. All tools and
safety equipment will be provided. Bring stout shoes and work gloves
if you have them.
Teaching 10 am Saturday - 4 pm
Sunday
Workshop fee; £80 includes
accommodation in shared rooms on Friday and Saturday nights and all
meals on Saturday till Sunday 4.30
